New Release: Hazem Beltagui 'Stellar Vol. 1'
Egyptian Dj & producer Hazem is not only the guy behind Red Soho & Fractal Digital Recordings, but has had a recent plethora of releases on labels like Armada, Black Hole, Macarize & Nueva Digital plus a coveted ASOT Tune of the Week accolade to his name. The lead track on this E.P shows a new Uplifting Trance side to Hazem's sound. 'Solar Flare' goes straight for the jugular with pounding kick and bass, underpinning a rousing lead riff that should hit the spot on any peak time trance floor. On the flip is something a little more sedate on the progressive trance tip - more luscious melodies, pads & sequences with on eye firmly on the early evening floors. Early support from Solarstone.

Our 8th release comes from Agnelli & Nelson star Robbie Nelson. Robbie is one of the most respected figures in the world of Trance, with a solid release history stretching back to the very early 90's. Shangri-La' is his followup to the mighty 'Aviator'. This record is a proper hairy-chest moment, in terms of what he plays in his Dj sets 'Shangri La' is right up at the top end of the adreneline chart. Full-on banging techy trance with a familiar ethereal vocal sample in the 'Original Mix'. We've included a handy Dub Mix too.
05.12.2009
Crashing Waves 7th release is Gary Orvis 'Try To Find'. This track is taken from Solarstone's 'Electronic Architecture' album. The Original mix is pure euphoric uplifting melodic gorgeousness, Rich Solarstone has been hammering this worldwide for close to 12 months, so it is due an official release! On the remix tip, Nick Rowland has delivered a phenomenal progressive trance remix - something truly brilliant! It is dark, moody and sulty and has 'Big Room' stamped all over it with it's throbbing bass and punchy stabs. Metadeko drops a very deep a laidback progressive house remix to complete the trio of classy mixes. Release date T.B.C - watch this space! All mixes will be premiered on Solaris International soon.
25.11.2009
Forthcoming on Crashing Waves is the enormous 'Why' from Stacker aka Argentinia's Heatbeat. Based upon the riff from Bronski Beat's 80's smash 'Smalltown Boy', this relentlesss trance pounder has been burning a hole in Solarstone's CD wallet for 12 months now. Despite the erroneous title which alludes to another Bronski Hit, the Club Mix is peak time trance in it's purest form, with a to-the-point breakdown and a pay-off to die for with one of those big phat basslines. Haris C puts his own slant on the track in his trademark style, all sparkling arpeggios and dancefloor friendly twists & turns

Forthcoming single from Robbie Nelson - his first solo material in over 10 years: 'Aviator'. This track has been causing trance traffic jams every time either Robbie himself or Solarstone have dropped this at their international dates over recent months. It received its debut spin at the massive Tidy Magna night in March and it was unquestionably the tune of the night. Remixes are in the pipeline, but you can listen to a clip in our player. Release date is t.b.c, but we have a fabulous Dan Stone remix just in! For up-to-the-minute news flashes about our releases subscribe to our newletter, or follow richsolarstone on twitter.
21.05.2009
Forthcoming release from Jox aka Danish producer Henrik Hjarnoe 'Microbial'. The track is a solid main room trancer, beautiful, melodic and sincere in its simplicity. The Club Mix is straight to the point peak time trance with punchy production and liberal melodic sprinklings. The 'Armageddon Breakdown' mix is self explanatory - a mammoth breakdown for those hands-in-the-air Gatecrasher moments. The track original featured on Solarstone's 'Electronic Architecture' album. Release date is July 27th 2009.
01.04.2009
Forthcoming release from Solar Energy 'Wanna Feel What You Feel' Polish producer Lukasz Szyda aka Solar Energy delivers a very subtle and beautiful trance record. The lead Instrumental versions are so warm they are practically hugging the listener with layers of understated melodies and beautiful chord changes. The Instrumental Club Mix is featured on Solarstones 'Electronic Architecture' album. The vocal mix despite being european in origin manages to be euphoric and uplifting without straying over the cheese boundry. The United Minds remix is a classy slab of uplifting trance in its own right, wheras the BT20 mix progs proceedings out a touch with smooth production and percussion. Check out clips in our player or buy now.
01.03.2009
Forthcoming release from Northwest & D-Mad 'Better Way': This is a driving uplifting trance record from these two young Russian producers. 1. Space In Time
2. Essence
INFORMATION
Two slices of Christian Drost's production here. First up is the fabulous 'Space & Time', warm subby bass and a heads-down sequenced synth lay the groundwork for this dark and deep progressive trance journey. At the drop a Jarre-esque analogue line bubbles through the mix, dark pads ascend and we're back in the sublime groove. On the flip is something altogether different; a soothing melodic Balearic-tinged mid-paced trance offering with a classy riff that surfaces at the break. More-ish.

1. Global Influence Remix
2. Lank Remix
INFORMATION
Originally released on Insatiable Records in 2007, this hidden gem has been given a facelift. Global Influence provide the main room Trance remix, their recent material has seen support from major trance jocks including Armin Van Buuren & Solarstone & it's easy to see why here; the guys stay faithful to the beautiful melodies of the Original version while adding their own sheen to the production. Plucked from the original Insatiable release is the criminally overlooked Lank remix. Hungarian producer Lank has been causing something of a stir with releases & remixes on Lowbit & Proton Music - his deep and dirty mix of 'Tapestry' was clearly way ahead of it's time as it still sounds fantastic now.

INFORMATION
Since his last release on Crashing Waves 'Wasted Time', Romania's Marius Ene aka Almar has been racking up the hits with slamming peak time Pure Trance remixes for Vandit (Alex M.O.R.P.H) & Alter Ego (Suncatcher). This latest 2 track EP is another take-no-prisoners front line assault, two understated but immaculately produced melodic journeys. Take your pic, both deliver the goods on any trance floor.

1. Original Mix
2. Brad & Victor H Bam Bam Remix
3. Insatiable Remix
INFORMATION
Something on the tech-trance tip here from Calgary's Axl Tone. The Original mix has already received spins from Paul Oakenfold.

The Original mix kicks off with heavily effected synth impacts and a cheeky portamento-ed lead riff with 'Big Room' plastered all over it, and the masterful main riff drops on the post-break payoff.

Brad & Victor H's 'Bam Bam' mix pushes the ring modulation baseline to the limit, shuffled percussion provides the groove and the guys work the main hook with a shock of valve-busting synths.

The Insatiable Remix is, to be honest, insane - it's tech trance meets dubstep meets indie-rock.

INFORMATION
Two straight-for-the-jugular uplifting melodic trancers here, the first is 'Wasted Time'; a cut from Solarstone's 'Electronic Architecture 2' with a beautiful chord change reminiscent of those classic PVD hammered classics that all trance fans revere. INFORMATION
A cut from Electronic Architecture 2, 'Dice' is rather more restrained that our usual Crashing Waves fare. Shingo Nakamura has released consistent stream of warm classy progressive trance records over the past 12 months, and on this team up with Kazusa we get the full treatment.

On the Original mix, emotive piano melodies and shimmering synth lines nestle within a rolling groove, whilst on the remix tip Janeiro pull a gorgeous euphoric trance mix at a progressive tempo out of the bag.

INFORMATION
Russian producer Gosh has previous releases on Songbird, Ask4 and Tripomatic. 'Burn It Away' is a twisted tough techy trance record, jagged percussion loops and piercing synth lines are the main flavor.

Martin Cloud's remix is the star of the show, when a warped and incredibly thick bassline bends and filters it's way into the track we know we're in for a treat. From the bell-chimed and oscilator-morphed breakdown to the stop-start rapid-turnaround arrangment the inventive programming and imaginative production layers make this a real audio feast and very addictive!

INFORMATION
Stuart is the only Northern Irish dance music DJ who had presented for and continues to work with both BBC Radio 1 and RTE, and which previous releases on High Contrast Nu Breed, Monster Tunes, UMM & Nukleuz he is as much in demand as a producer as a Dj.

'Cosmic Dawn' is the lead track on this release, having been hammered by Judge Jules on his BBC Radio show for 3 weeks in succession it is as 'tried & tested' as it is possible to be! The genius of this track is that it is a pure trance record, the shimmering arpeggio led production is perfection itself, any big room trance dj simply needs to have this record in their box. The chords and melodies hark back to the trance's halcyon days, yet it is a thoroughly modern record.

'Perfect Horizon' is on the flip, Stuart show's he is any other than a one trick pony with yet another example of just how peak trance should be done.

1. Original Mix
2. Andy Power Remix
INFORMATION
Matvey is one of Russia's rising production stars with previous releases on System Recordings and Solarstone's Electronic Architecture 2 compilation.

Original Mix: This is deeply slung spacious thundery progressive trance. An incessant minor keyed analogue synth pluck melody builds in release and filter tension throughout the track, evaporating into sensual breath sounds which take the track down into an intense big room breakdown.

Andy Power Remix: Cranking things up massively, Andy Power's remix fuses elements of techno and tribal grooves. Taking the lead melody and smashing it up with a huge reverbed and panned effect, Andy introduces techy stabs and dark arpeggiated tones, sharp percussive hits in the break leading to a massive tense and sustained pay off. This is major league stuff for harder floors.

4. Chris Voro Remix
INFORMATION
Lifted from Solarstone's Electronic Architecture 2 album, we present this uplifting trancer from Greece's ALS. The Original mix is a powerful uplifting melodic trance record, one for the 138bpm peak time crowd. It's evocative leads press all the right buttons. Moonwalkers crank up the octane with their tough dutch sounding mix, awash with nu-trance elements and peaky tones, this is main club mix in our opinion. Chris Oblivion's rework is a more chilled pretty trance mix, a nice addition to the pack. Finally Chris Voro has given us something a bit unusual, it's A blend of trance, ambient and a hint of a dubstep pace.

The Original mix takes no prisoners with its punchy, driving, twisted, warped yet melodic take on the genre. Sound FX and rattling bass tones give this a widescreen big room appeal. INFORMATION
This is a splendid slab of uplifting melodic trance in its Original Mix, proper full-on peak time club music which has been a staple of label boss Solarstone's dj sets for over a year now, sincehe signed it for the 'Electronic Architecture' album. First up on remix duties is Northern Ireland's Dan McDaid aka Dingle, who slows the track down into a gorgeous progressive house lounge mix which is full of interesting diversions en route. Nick Rowland's remix however is the star of the show, Nick has found a new mojo it seems, with this radical departure from his previous releases, this remix has hallmarks of early 90's Hooj material, being progressive yet melodic and intrinsicly inventive. It's thunderous bass and sneaky payoff after the break make it a solid big-room track..
